What is the standard of honed hydraulic tube

honed hydraulic tube is referred to as a Honed tube. One of the most important materials of manufacturing hydraulic cylinders are Honed Tubes. This type of tubing is ordinarily honed in the inside diameter of a Ready to Honed Tube. Which is why it is also known as honed ID tubing. Honing is an abrasive or a grinding machining process that delivers a precision surface on a metal workpiece for e.g. Hydraulic Tubes. During this process, an abrasive grinding stone or grinding wheel is scrubbed against a Pre Honed Tube along a hegemonized path. Honing is a process which is fundamentally used to enhance the geometric form of a surface.

Our honed steel tube can meet ID tolerance H7, H8, H9, … etc according to the customer’ requirements, and its I.D dimension.

2, Seamless tube with high pressure resistance;
We only use seamless cold drawn tubes to produce honed pipes, which means our honed tubing can work under higher pressure, thus our honed pipes are more reliable for hydraulic cylinder applications.

3, High Smooth inside surface;
The roughness of our honed pipe is Max Ra 0.4 microns ID finish .

  Hydraulic ram cylinders   are typically used to give vertical motion, including lifting loads in a vertical direction. Such a cylinder is also used to provide the motion in a horizontal direction but needs attention and suitable guides to guide the motion.
