WHY CLIENTS LIKE USING CK45 INDUCTION HARDENED CHROME BAR FOR CYLINDER ROD

CK45 Induction hardened chrome bar    is a material favored by hydraulic cylinder manufacturers. It is widely used to manufacturer cylinder piston rod, so it is also called CK45 hydraulic piston rod. The bars are centerless ground, polished, and chrome plated to a minimum thickness of 0.0007″, and 0.002″ per side. The production process medium tensile carbon steel CK45 in the cold drawn or turned, precision ground, polished, chrome plated and final polished condition. The tensile strength of CK45 steel is 670 – 800 Mpa, and yield strength around 520 Mpa (75Ksi).  The Induction hardened chrome plated rod results in a superior impact resistant bar ideal for high quality piston rods capable of handling tough environments. THE ADVANTAGES OF OUR CK45 INDUCTION HARDENED CHROME BAR Common grades AISI 1045/CK45 steel (SAE1045) Inch sizes available Hard chrome plated  thickness per side: minimum thickness .0007″ (.02mm), .002″ (.05mm) Precision tolerances and surface f...

What is ck45 round bar hardness hrc

CK45 round steel bar   general purpose medium carbon steel delivered in as  hot rolled   condition. It can be further heat treated to achieve specific mechanical properties. The 0.45% carbon content is not favorable for welding. However, it can be weld with appropriate pre and post weld heat treatment. Surface hardness of 57~62 HRC can be achieved with cast hardening to a depth of approximately 1mm. Used for most transmission and motor parts of medium strength. Case hardened parts such as camshafts, gears, rocking levers etc. Simple hand tools and various types of fasteners and fixtures, machinery parts and components with medium stress.
