Why Choose Induction Hardened Chrome Rods Over Traditional Chrome Plating?

Image
Induction hardened chrome rods are precision-crafted chromium alloys treated with a magnetic induction process. This technology heats the metal surface to extreme temperatures (up to 1,500°C) and rapidly cools it using a quenching medium. The result? A hardened outer layer (5-8mm thick) with exceptional wear resistance, while the core remains ductile for shock absorption. Key Benefits for Manufacturing Induction Hardened Chrome Rods: ✅ Longer Lifespan: Reduce replacement frequency and labor costs. ✅ Superior Strength: Handle heavy loads and repetitive stress without bending or breaking the raw manterials ✅ Corrosion Resistance: Ideal for automotive, aerospace, and marine industries like hydraulic cylinder applications exposed to harsh environments. ✅ Cost Efficiency: Save up to 40% on maintenance over traditional rods. THE BENEFITS OF INDUCTION HARDENING

Image
Induction hardening   uses induced heat and rapid cooling (quenching) to increase the hardness and durability of steel. Induction hardening is a method of quickly and selectively hardening the surface of a metal part. A copper coil carrying a significant level of alternating current is placed near (not touching) the part. Heat is generated at, and near the surface by eddy current and hysteresis losses. Quench, usually water-based with an addition such as a polymer, is directed at the part or it is submerged. This transforms the structure to martensite, which is much harder than the prior structure. It is a no-contact process that quickly produces intense, localised, and controllable heat. Induction is being used to harden numerous components, such as gears, crankshafts,  cylinder bars , drive shafts, output shafts, torsion bars, rocker arms, CV joints, tulips, valves, rock drills, slewing rings. HOW TO STRENGTHEN THE PERFORMANCE OF CYLINDER BARREL

Hydraulic cylinder  is basically composed of  cylinder barrel  and cylinder head, piston and  piston rod , sealing device and so on, if we want to strengthen its performance how to do it? 1. Using NUMERICAL control electro-hydraulic servo valve to control hydraulic cylinder can realize linear and real-time control of output, so as to improve the performance of hydraulic cylinder; 2, the cylinder has strength, can withstand dynamic working pressure, long time working without deformation; 3, stiffness, under the piston side force and installation reaction force will not bend; 4, less friction between the inner surface and guide parts and seals, can be used for a long time; 5, cylinder and flange to good welding, no cracks. 6, to correctly install the sealing device around the  hydraulic cylinder : pay attention to the installation direction when installing the sealing ring, to avoid oil leakage due to the installation, the lip should deal with the pressure ...
