WHY CLIENTS LIKE USING CK45 INDUCTION HARDENED CHROME BAR FOR CYLINDER ROD

CK45 Induction hardened chrome bar  is a material favored by hydraulic cylinder manufacturers. It is widely used to manufacturer cylinder piston rod, so it is also called CK45 hydraulic piston rod. The bars are centerless ground, polished, and chrome plated to a minimum thickness of 0.0007″, and 0.002″ per side.

The production process medium tensile carbon steel CK45 in the cold drawn or turned, precision ground, polished, chrome plated and final polished condition. The tensile strength of CK45 steel is 670 – 800 Mpa, and yield strength around 520 Mpa (75Ksi).  The Induction hardened chrome plated rod results in a superior impact resistant bar ideal for high quality piston rods capable of handling tough environments.
